Application of ferrites in gas sensors .
The principal advantage of ferrite as compared to conventional sensor based on semiconductor materials of metal oxides is the ability to adjust their band structure , the nature of the active sites on the surface , changing the cation composition . The main conclusion of the published work to date is the discovery of the high sensitivity of the functional properties of iron cation composition and microstructure : crystallite size and pore specific surface area materials.
In our laboratory, conducting research systems mixed ferrites . Samples were synthesized on a specially designed installation spray pyrolysis Pyrola v1.2 based aerosol generator Albedo IN- 7. This provides a one-step method of synthesis of a specific surface area of 150 m2 / g and a high yield of the desired product.

Main directions :

  •    Mixed ferrites of nickel, zinc, cobalt , copper and other 3d- metals
  •    The impact of the iron content on the properties of ferrites
  •    The creation of materials for the sensor layer gas sensors
